Why We Stand with Save the Children
From the heart of My Little Everything
As families gather this Easter weekend, many children will be running through gardens in search of chocolate eggs, wrapped in warmth, joy, and innocence. It’s a beautiful time, a celebration of life, renewal, and hope.
But for far too many children across the world, this weekend, and every day, is marked not by celebration, but by suffering. Children are living through conflict, abuse, poverty, and trauma. Some are facing violence so horrific we can hardly imagine it, burned, bombed, or broken in spirit before they’ve even had a chance to begin.
It’s a contrast that shakes us. And it’s one we cannot ignore.
This Good Friday, We Reflect
Good Friday is about sacrifice. About pain, injustice, and a broken world. But it’s also about the quiet, steady promise that love and light will rise again.
That’s why today, we reflect on the children who aren’t painting eggs or waking up to safety. The children who need someone to stand up and say, without hesitation:
Save the Children.
A Legacy of Protection
'Save the Children was founded over 100 years ago by Eglantyne Jebb, she was the first person to articulate that children are people, not the possessions of adults, and therefore deserve to have their own fundamental rights. She shared her ground-breaking vision with the world when she drafted the historic Geneva Declaration of the Rights of the Child and invited the Assembly of the League of Nations to be “guided by its principles in the work of child welfare” in 1924'. Their mission is more urgent now than ever before. As a brand born from a deep love for childhood, we at My Little Everything stand with them wholeheartedly. We believe childhood is sacred. That every child deserves love, care, and the chance to shine. We are proud to support the hands that reach out with hope, help, and healing. As someone who studied sociology and social policy, I’ve seen firsthand how societies can fail its children. But I’ve also seen the power of action, compassion, and community.
We’re Not Helpless, We’re Here
We can raise our voices, our values, and our brand to shine a light on their work.
This Good Friday, as we reflect on suffering, may we also remember that we’re not powerless. Through compassion, through action, through solidarity, we can protect what matters most.
From My Little Everything, we say it clearly, urgently, and with all our heart:
Save the children.
