Align with the Divine

Today marks my 33rd Birthday, I am grateful for my life. The lessons and blessings have aligned me back to my true self and I feel at peace thanks to putting God first. I have turned my pain into purpose and I feel compelled to write this post as I look back on my childhood, look to right now on raising my own child and to whoever might be reading this, how positive it is to plant faith in the hearts and minds of little ones. 

Thanks to my Mother who found her faith and planted that seed in us through example and education, although some years have been hard she has given unconditional love and shown us how good God is. I cannot say that without giving eternal thanks to Bishop T.D Jakes who has in turn greatly helped our family in faith.

I am actively introducing God to my child through service, books, videos, prayers and gratitude. It is the cutest thing to hear him say in his sweet voice, ‘Thank you God!' Slowly but surely he is learning and building his own faith which I know will help him in the future as it is still helping me today. If we trust and believe in the Lord to become better people in this world, we can help raise better people for this world. Little ones look to us for guidance, for everything but we as adults must be wise to understand that we must look to God within us for guidance, for everything to give to them.
