At My Little Everything, we’ve always believed that the earliest years of a child’s life are everything. These foundational years, from birth to age five, are when the brain develops more rapidly than at any other stage, and when a child’s sense of love, belonging, and identity begins to form.

Their mission, to raise awareness of how crucial the early years are to our collective future, aligns beautifully with our own. It’s a message we carry not just in spirit, but in every product and post we’ve created from the beginning.

Launched by HRH The Princess of Wales, the Shaping Us campaign has brought the message of early childhood’s importance to a global audience with care, conviction, and grace. The campaign’s moving short film reminds us that every child’s story begins long before they can tell it, and that the first five years shape not only who they are, but how they experience and engage with the world.

What makes the Centre’s work so powerful is not just the message, but the action behind it. The Royal Foundation is helping to bring together research, policy, and public understanding in a way that feels both grounded and visionary. Their efforts span across early childhood research, awareness campaigns, and support for caregivers, practitioners, and systems that influence children’s wellbeing.

📚 How Our Work Supports the Early Years

At My Little Everything, we support this shared mission by helping families honour, record, and celebrate the formative years, in their own voices, languages, and ways of life.

Every baby book, bilingual and English-only memory book, journal, and scrapbook we create is more than a keepsake. It’s a gentle, thoughtful way to:

• Nurture emotional connection between child and caregiver

• Celebrate identity and culture, especially through our bilingual editions

• Support language development and memory

• Encourage mindful presence during these fleeting and formative years

We also take care in how we represent childhood online. By using AI-generated baby and child models in our imagery, we are actively protecting real children’s identities while still celebrating the joy and wonder they bring. It’s our way of ensuring that protection and playfulness can coexist in today’s digital world.

We believe children should always feel seen, heard, and valued, and that their stories, even from the very beginning, deserve to be recorded with love and protected with integrity.
